Facelift Phantom Clamp Assembly

Not worth the money…

I purchased these to replace the purple clamps with hopes that they’d have better holding power, last longer, and be more structurally sound. Pros: The clamps are easy to install. Cons: They become loose all too often during simple cleaning jobs. I lost way too much time retightening not only the hex screw side, but also the clamp side. The plastic piece connected to nut that is used to tighten clamp portion down is thin and breaks easily after some use. The holding power for many sections is much worse than original clamps. The pole will just spin at clamp section. For the zero pole, they do not make all the necessary sizes. I had to send the 2 larger ones back.

these phantom clamps are great, i have used them on 2 other brands of poles. easy to open and close, fantastic grip. reversable, one lever size for all clamps. i am in canada looking forward to seeing how they work well below freezing but so far well worth the money. service from wcr was excellent, no free shipping to canada but my orders have come faster than from canadian supppliers.
