A hole was missing in the foam to properly fit the Keychron Q10 brass plate. Some modification later and it all fit and worked as expected.

Well worth it

Greatly improves this board. I want to say that the aluminum on the q10 is kind of thin compared to other custom boards. Perhaps it's the shape of the q10 but just brushing the board with your finger it makes a really weird sound. So this kit (using all of the pieces) got rid of that. Fitment in the case is certainly tight given that I also have two layers of tape, so the cutouts for the hot swap sockets are a bit mushed. Nothing that putting it all together carefully couldn't solve. Really nice that these are available state side as well considering if you got a q10 or another keychron board, and wanted to order this after the fact. You're not paying the higher shipping rates.
