Forward Wip Winging Harness Line 2.0

This harness line is poorly designed.

I attached the harness line to my wing in the way they show on their website and the small half came disconnected and fell in the water. I was hoping to buy a replacement half from Forward Wip, but they don't sell that. They offered me 10% off an new line and suggested that I should have used a velcro strap to connect it to my wing, even though it doesn't come with one and they don't mention that anywhere. Disappointed in the harness line and the inability for the company to have a solution for this.

Safety first

How nice is it to pump my wing and not get hit in the face with the harness line. The bungee tension keeps it out of the way but ready to hook into. Easily adjustable and stays where I set it. Very strong, I’ve been overpowered and never had it fail although it is wearing out a bit on the loop. I put some electrical tape on it to protect from further damage. I suggest doing this before it shows any signs of wear to increase its lifespan. Very easy to install and remove when switching wings. Fits well on hard handles and soft. The magnetic latch is strong, making an unmistakable click when engaged. Great piece of mind having the ability to easily disconnect it with one hand if I ever get tangled up. I had to release it once when I wiped out while hooked in and it was much easier than trying to pull in the wing while floating. It’s priced reasonably so I suggest getting two.
