Indigo 100% Cotton Denim

Very rough despite several washings

I bought this denim to make jeans but after 3 washes, it’s still very rough. I washed it with a new denim from somewhere else and that denim is very soft, so it’s something in the way I’m laundering them. I hesitate to makes jeans from this denim because it isn’t softening the way I’d want. It would be fine for a bag or maybe a denim jacket.
