Coal Store bought to experiment on roof tiles, before embarking on the massive Blacksmith's roof. The techniques developed for the Blacksmith's slate walls were applied first, then the roof started. Six attempts later, I'm pretty happy with it, and can now approach the Blacksmith's roof with a degree of confidence. The coal store itself makes a delightful little scene ready for (one day) a layout to sit in.
