Beef Jerky Bulk - Old Fashioned

This jerky has excellent flavor. But.... A 4 oz package (there are 8) has 2 oz of small pieces, 2 oz of tiny shreds. Not one piece is 2" long. No strips. Tasty, but not satisfying. I contacted Old Trapper. They blamed "mechanical packaging." My last order, for sure. (My dog really liked the shreds.)
