I bought the XbotGo NT4 stand for sports recording and honestly I do not recommend it, especially for the price. It’s extremely overpriced for what you get.
The stand is way too bulky and heavy to carry around regularly to games and practices. Setup takes longer than expected, and there’s no spring cushion or damping system, so adjustments feel stiff and rough instead of smooth.
Yes, it’s sturdy and tall, but for basketball and everyday recording it feels like overkill. For something this expensive, I expected better portability, smoother operation, and a more user-friendly design.
Pros:
- Solid build quality
- Stable when fully set up
- Good height for wide field recording
Cons:
- Overpriced
- Too heavy
- Very bulky
- No spring cushioning
- Rigid adjustments
- Not practical for quick setups
Overall, unless you specifically need an extra tall tripod for large outdoor fields, there are much better and lighter options available for the money.
