Coghlan's Water Based Seam Seal

Tried to use this to seal seams on an older tent, however, the sealer seemed to be very liquid, and I had doubts about how well it would work. I've used GearAid silicone seam sealer in the past, and decided to punt on this time-consuming project until I could buy it again. I thought it would be too risky to spend a lot of my time and to use the $5 sealer instead of $10 sealer. My time is worth more to me at this point.
