Broke before I could put them on

The boots are beautiful but one of the metal hooks on the knee for lacing them up was bent completely closed. I tried to bend it open so I could lace them, and the metal snapped right off. Feels like a waste of over $200…

Beautiful and exactly as expected. The foot is true to size. The latex is shiny and the shoe fits perfect, but I was disappointed to see that my legs are far too thin to be able to lace them in a corset style, with the laces more open. even laced all the way up tight, they still had room, which both means the leg doesn’t fit as snug as in the product photo, and as I said, you miss out on the v-shaped lace space. For reference, I’m not tiny, at 5’8 and ~150lbs. I think I could’ve lost 25% lace length and about 25-30% of the width of the boot leg.
