These blanks make the best lake trout rods. Wish they would come in a 48inch length also. Perhaps more colors in the future too.

Heavy Action?

I am new to rod building. I purchased these blanks looking for a stiff backbone for setting hooks into hard mouth fish. While the blanks are very quality and fairly stiff, they are not what I would consider heavy action. More of a medium heavy.
