A18 Squirrel Trap Kit With Digital Strike Counter

Well designed, except the the soft plastic. I ended up buying the metal cover for it after reading reports of squirrels chewing the caps. The squirrels that I'm after are chewing up my poly furniture, so I figured that they would chew the trap up as well. It took three days before getting the first squirrel, but another week has gone by without a strike. I probably need to freshen up the bait or move it to another part of the yard. I'm satisfied that this will eventually reduce the poly-chewing population.

3 squirrels in 3 days. Nice cover. Nice looks. Quality cover. Quality A18 unit. Mounts in 1 minute. 2 screws. No more digging up the yard, ruining my bird feeders, chewing on car wiring.

Not sure how you can improve the device. I've had it for a month and have had no bites. Yet I've seen ground squirrels around the yard. I've checked the counter and it hasn't changed. The tree I have it mounted on has several dozen holes in the ground. The A24 is a different story. I've caught several rats so far.
