Plastic-Free Hair Ties

Solid Option

I like these hair ties. They have a more secure hold than the ones I had before this. Sometimes I like the softer hold, though, so it would be nice to see a few versions of hair ties from Mother Earth. These are my best hair ties for sports when I want to keep my hair back. My other hair ties would fall out with strenuous activity. For reference, I have fine but thick hair that is long.

I wanted to love these but they are not strong enough for my hair. For reference I have thin hair but lots of it. Hair tie broke at first use. I do love the plastic-free concept however.

Eco-friendly Hair Tie with Flexible Tension

I'm a guy who grew out my hair because I got tired of going to the barber. Then I got tired of my long hair competing with my food during meals. The Plastic-Free Hair Ties by Me Mother Earth gave me relief. They have enough tension for a secure hold on the hair. They also do not stretch too far for this reason. Getting the hair tie around my wrist, then pulling it off of the hand holding the hair and onto the hair itself can be a tight squeeze to maneuver. I can manage two twists or pulling my hair through the hair tie twice. Despite the minimal elasticity, having 20 hair ties to an order is generous. I imagine one hair tie will last a few months to a year with constant reuse. If you prefer a better hold over a stretchy hair tie that's also eco-conscious, I'd recommend using these.
