Gaps in front

Toad and Co is usually pretty aware of creating clothes for women’s bodies, but I have noticed that they have been catering to those on the flat-chested side (in clothes and models) lately. I like the Manzana peasant shirt a lot, but the placement of the front buttons was a big no go for me - even though it was plenty loose, it gapped in front and my bra showed in between buttons. I can sew, so I basted a quick seam down the front (will have to go back and do it better with matching thread). I appreciate that the placket in front was double layered so that my seam could go through the back layer and not show on the outside. The button placement was the reason for 3 stars because it was unwearable without alteration. Positives: love the blue color, the lace edges feminine but not fussy, the shape of the top edge (collar) is not too high or too low, and the sleeves are loose and flattering. Fabric feels good and the loose fit keeps me cool on hot summer days.

This shirt is stylish, comfortable, and cool - it is perfect for any outing, and I am thrilled with it.

This is a flattering top that makes me feel beautiful everytime I wear it! Most of Toad and company’s clothes are that way. This style of top just hangs nice,does not wrinkle or show dirt. It also washes up very nicely. It drys quickly when you hang it. I do not dryer dry! These tops run large. For reference, I usually wear a medium. It ran huge on my 5’7” 138 lb. Frame. However; Both the small and xsmall worked well for me. This is a nice addition to any wardrobe. nice enough for the office but playful enough for a summer concert. I think it would flatter any body type. You will enjoy having this top!
