I'd been looking for a specific tight and dry snare sound for a long time. Most sampled drums have too much room sound for my taste. I knew that 90% of the songs that had the sound I wanted featured Joey Waronker on drums. When I heard the previews for this set I immediately recognized that not only were these drums recorded the right way, it's actually the same kit I'd been hearing. For the price and the use I'll get out of this, I cannot fault it, and I've barely used any of the other kits yet.
