Current Season ~ Bronze Collector's Subscription Box

I’m a huge fan of the Honey & Me products, and have enjoyed seeing some of the expansion of the product line. Seeing the introduction of Uncle Sam last year, I was so excited to see what this year would bring for the summer, and receiving two frogs was quite the shock. I completely understand that the critters are something new for the vision of the company, but maybe the quarterly blind boxes aren’t the right place to fully experiment given folks are paying potentially over $100 for these goodies (I understand the “unique” factor of these pieces, but having both boxes be the same item type was disappointing in the sense that there was no chance of at least liking one of the items). I will continue to support this company as I do love the soft sculptures, but the boxes from this quarter are the specific reason I canceled my bronze and gold box subscriptions going forward (and I know a couple other people did as well) as my two frogs found a new home in a donation box rather than my home. I hope over the next couple quarters, I see a change in direction with the boxes and can resubscribe as the bee taped boxes are some of my favorite to receive.

I feel bad saying this, but I got the Frog, and while he is cute, I am not into frogs. What I mean is I would never have purchased this in a store, especially for $40. I wish we could see what was in the upcoming subscription boxes. I don’t think I like being surprised.
