Disappointing Stain Resistance

Within minutes of putting the rug down it had clearly visible dirt stains from regular dog traffic that do not vacuum up.

I really do like the mat/area rug. I love the size (5x7ft) and that the door does not hit it when opening or closing. Only thing is the color. I thought the grey color (Stone) would hide more, but it shows every footprint. So our entry way looks kind of messy. If I could go back in time, I would buy the Dark Grey or Natural color instead.
