Absolute Extrait de Parfum

Solid Cologne is Great. EDP is disappointing.

I purchased Absolute Extract de Parfum after trying out it’s solid cologne. The solid cologne was an amazing scent that blew the Aventus DNA out of the park; I wanted it in a bottle. However, it was disappointing and all I could smell was alcohol, which was immensely overpowering and cloying. It's longevity and performance was subpar, lasting 1-2 hours on my skin with 4 sprays. I had hoped the EDP would smell as good as it's solid counterpart, but I was disappointed and had to return it. The return process was easy and customer service was great. Although you do have to cover postage costs. If Solid State improved the performance, longevity, and formula of it’s EDP, I’ll buy mountains of it!

I have always purchased Blue Parfum as it is amazing. So I thought I'd try the Solid State option "inspired" by the Chanel original. It doesn't remind me of Bleu at all to be honest. It's nice but way off the mark. Also, when ordering it asked if I wanted 50ml, 100ml or 150ml. I chose the 150ml bottle. The package arrived and inside were 3 x 50ml bottles...🤷‍♂️
