Found this product after some searching and reading. Took the plunge. Glad so far I did. After some phone connection issues, I gave up for the day. Then got sick for a couple weeks. Finally a 60F day and tried again. After staring everything up, it all connected! I have no idea what I did or didn't do but it works well. The screen is nice and bright in most situations today. The mount is nice and sturdy, but seems to need a slightly bigger ball as I can't get it tight enough to keep the screen from dropping down while on any bumpy roads. I will try a shim or two to see if that works. Otherwise it was working as described and advertised.
