Love
My son (2) got his first round of AFO and SMO in November. Since then we went through 2 pairs of the classic billy"s that zip around the toe. We worked through two because the zipper would not hold up with the wear and tear. It would have been 3 pairs in 4 months if the zipper didn't break in one set on the right and the other set on the left, resulting in a 3rd missed matched pair. I noticed these higher, top of foot zipper and reinforced toe, praying this would be the answer. We purchased two right away, since they are the only shoes that meet my son's needs and we've had rough luck with the other style. These seem to be more durable, and the zipper takes on the stress. Plus, my oldest suggested his little bro has better "drip than he does with these shoes. . . " I am hoping they continue to hold up. My one suggestion would be no tie- laces for these younger ages. They don't use them and they are annoying to keep tied. I would encourage more elastic or adjustable laces that hold the size, rather than add more bulk.

Great!
These are great sneakers. They have worked really well with my daughter's AFOs.

Learning curve
Love the zippers! Son wears an AFO on one leg so is hard to find a pair of shoes that actually fits-not 2 sizes to big to accommodate the AFO. The only thing on this style is it has more of the toe left on the top. . . have to angle his foot in. Learning curve on that but still great and he loves them!
