Neither a buddy of mine nor I had ever built a treehouse. We found this website and were very pleased. The "blueprints", materials list, and step by step instructions really made it a lot easier than if we tried to imagine how to do it on our own. We modified the plan and put the house by the tree and the deck away from the tree, and everything was still great. The hardware kit was extremely high quality and was simple to use. Get the plans and the hardware kit. They are not automatically together. Customer service was extremely helpful as well. Everyone who has checked out the finished treehouse has been extremely impressed. Most important of all though, is that my kids love it!
