I have been meaning to read this book for a very long time and, shortly after purchasing it as a gift for my sister, bought my own copy as well. I started reading it and did not put it down until I had finished it. I really liked the world building, with the different magic systems at play with witches and sorcerers, and the interplay of the characters, with their different motivations and moral standpoint driving their actions, allowing for a real sympathy for even the most antagonistic characters. I am currently waiting rather impatiently for my next payday so I can continue reading this series!

Don't buy this book! Don't be a silly human and only buy Daindreth's Assassin thinking "I want to see if I would like the story before I buy the whole series". No, rookie mistake, buy the whole series and save yourself the pain of having to wait for the rest of the series to arrive.

I didn’t want to put it down and I have already ordered the next 2 books. Eagerly awaiting their arrival!
