Chinese Brush Painting: An Instructional Guide "GOLD EDITION" by Ning Yeh

A really good starter book - I had never held a Chinese painting brush - so it was an excellent background understanding of Chinese brush painting along with the "how-to" actually do it. I wish I had known this was a better "beginner" book than the ABC's of Chinese painting but the ABC book was excellent also - just beginning with color and not ink! This type of information on the web site would have been helpful for true beginners.

I have the original edition from which I learned so much. And now, this GOLD EDITION is even better. Thank you.

it’s a very detailed, intimate and interesting book that needs to be read slowly to get everything from it. I am enjoying the book
