Pants

I like the view of the pants and the apparent quality craftmanship. However the size was a 34 waist, and these would have likely been a good fit for a 38 person. I washed them, expecting some shrinkage since they were 98% cotton but there was none in my opinion. I sent them to my son, since he is significantly larger than me, so not a total loss. Question for you. Would I be OK if I ordered a 32? Thanks.
