Comfortable, flattering

I wore this to a fall wedding that had summer weather and it was perfect. I had to hem it, of course. I should have taken up the sleeves a bit too (I’m five feet tall), but I’m not a great seamstress and I ran out of time. I loved the fabric and the print! Comfortable for a long night of partying.

Exactly as comfortable, modest, elegant, and gorgeous as I had hoped it would be. The length is also wonderful. I’m about 5’7” in flat shoes, 140-145 lbs, I have a high waistline and the hem touches the floor.

It’s pretty but..

Ok the dress is well made and very pretty, but if you’re built more square-ish in shape, I think this dress leans more like a maternity dress. I’m looking 2nd trimester and not even pregnant. Now is that a “me” problem? Yes probably, however I do think this dress would be gorgeous on a very slender build.
