I was really pleased, the instructions were easy to follow. I really enjoyed making him, I went on to make two more smaller ones.I now have a small family of them.

Loved bringing Bertie to life

I have previously needle felted, but loved the look of Bertie and didn’t feel that I could make it without instructions. The only question I had to ask the Facebook group was ‘how big should Bertie’s head be’ and it was answered almost instantaneously. (The Facebook group is a really good group to get involved with). The fact that there are written instruction as well as detailed photos, made the process really easy. There was more that enough felt to make him, and I could perhaps make his younger brother with what I have left. The only thing that I would change if I made another one (which I want to do, but I don’t think that my husband will appreciate having them all around the house), I would add the head to the body before adding the nose details. You can see form my photos that the nose is a little on the ‘skew-wiff’. However, this is my issue and not the kit. Apart from this the only issue I had was putting the head on the body as he looked like a rabbit at that point and I had to stick an awe into his head!!!!!
