Tolles Lichtschwert.

Ich liebe mein Revan Lichtschwer. Wertig verarbeitet, und tolle Farbe/Klang. Mit Expressversand war das Lichtschwert auch relativ fix aus China bei mir zu Hause. Nur noch schnell das Griffband und die Klinge angebracht und fertig war das große Grinsen in meinem Gesicht.

Nicely worked lightsaber... worth investing for neopixel.

General quality and workmanship is very good. The danger looks and feels very nice. I've had problems though with using the gesture activation, which sometimes works, and sometimes takes a couple of tries. Another lightsaber I've bought from this company (one-button model) doesn't seem to be as finicky. Also, there are no instructions how to install the pleather hilt wrapping that came with the saber. Otherwise, the amount of customization available with the SNV4 neopixel board is great. Though some of the blade and ignition effects effects look weird, depending on the selected blade colour or could use with partially turning leds off on the saber blade instead of lighting them up white. Many ignition effects are white only, and ignore the blade colour until ignition finishes, which limits their usability, imho. But, as gimmicks, they're nice to play around with. The logic of storing settings is a bit tricky as well, apparently when you change a blade effect, you need to select your desired blade colour again, but your selections do get stored in the relevant combination. The stability of the blade when properly mounted and tightly secured screws is incredible! You do sometimes feel a little shift in the blade, but that appears to be the led step inside the blade that is cushioned with insulation rather than real blade wobble or loosening. Even when fighting moderately aggressively, the blade seems to hold up, though I'll admit I haven't been truly punishing the device yet. The ability to procure spare blades is very reassuring nonetheless. If you want it mainly for display the baselit variant is probably sensible, as it shaves about 100€ off the sales price, but imho getting the neopixel and its' bluetooth app support is well worth the extra cost, especially for setting proper blade length options depending on the selection you make when buying. All in all, the small gripes listed above take off a point from an otherwise fantastic product.
