This rod is so light! Great for top waters and jerkbaits. You can use it all day without fatigue. I like using it for poppers and walking baits around cover, because of the short length and action you can place baits very accurately! Also great for jerkbaits around docks!

Gorgeous Build and "wonderful to fish".

First cast with the new rod got me a 4.7 pound largemouth on a Z Man finesse cross-eyed jig with a baby goat trailer. I have this rod paired with a Diawa Tatula CT bait caster. I own a bunch of Old 18 rods, both casting and spinning and this is my first Suppressor and certainly not my last. Once again, and as usual Old 18 comes through with flying colors. As a veteran, I support my veteran brothers and their ventures.
