The Love and the Hate

LOVE that they are nice quality leather and so well made that they will last forever. These are like back in the 70’s. They don’t make sandals like this anymore. I love that they are ok to get wet. HATE that there is a break-in period. We are talking high level pain and blisters. Not sure I’m up for it, I am an out of the box comfort Birkenstock gal. But I did keep them past the return period due to the indecision on keeping them for the high quality and style. They are by my front door and I’m wearing them to get the mail every day. Wish me luck lol. As for the fit, also see my photos for reference, I am a true 8 1/2. I ordered an 8 and they fit great.

Awesome once they break in!

I am usually an 8.5 or a 39 uk, and I ordered an 8 in both the black and brown. The length was perfect, but the straps were super tight when I first put them on and the thong part felt way too thick. I wore them in the shower, and now they are perfect. I buy a lot of leather flip flops, usually olukai, and they fit great right out of the box then stretch out so they are too big and my feet slide out of them, so I like that these come tight and then mold to your foot. Glad I bought both colors.

Fit my feet perfectly like a glove. It’s very hard to find sandals to fit this way because my foot is between narrow and medium width. These sandals are very well made. Highly recommend them .
