DRS-1 | Differential Reference® Streamer & Media Hub

I was impressed with this streamer from Emotiva. The DRS-1 also has an outstanding DAC. I only wish Volumio allowed Amazon music to function in the Volumio app.

First, I'd like to say I'm an old school audiophile. I look at performance as a first priority. The DRS-1 audio performance (DAC) was exceptional! The problem for me was the Volumio interface...slow, prone to freezing, and lack of features. Hopefully in the future, this interface will be updated to reflect a more contemparary look and feel.

this drs-1 sounds better than my marantz nc-6006 i really like the improved bass. this time i had difficulty reaching anyone in customer support. finally got there and it was worth the effort.
