Major Fitness Spotter Arms

Great spotter arms. Works well on my rack! The leg that goes down gives extra piece of mind and support but you can use the arms without them touching the ground. Use them for a lot of stuff!

I had to get these because they are the only ones that fit the unique sizing (2x3in) of the major fitness power rack, which I got off FB marketplace. I got them for press lockouts, rack pulls, etc. But they are unlike most other spotter arms out there, unfortunately. As far as I can tell, they are basically only make to spot a squat. They are longer than they need to be, less sturdy on their own (if you aren't engaging the little leg attached to them, which is too long to help with rack pulls and too short to help with press lockouts), more expensive than they need to be, and they have a hard metal top (rather than padding), so they are rough on your bars. I got some rubber strips off Amazon to put on top to make them feel like every other spotter arm. And I put some packing material under each side for rack pulls to give it more stability. To summarize, I wish major fitness had a regular spotter arm for cheaper than this, or that they made their racks normal sizes so you can get other people's spotter arms.

These were exactly what I needed. They provide the safety I wanted during squats and benchpress.
