Regular vs custom
I had the chance to try on both. The regular set that comes as a bundle, cost less but requires more time or effort to put on. A custom set will cost more, however with that price comes speed,comfort (In my opinion) and convenience,because it's faster and easier to put on and take off.
The regular set has a particular and peculiar way of going on- pads 1st then shoes or skateson afterwards (once you learn it, its easy especially the kneepads) there's a video tutorial on how to put them on,you should watch it.If you choose to.
If I had to choose between the two sets because( you cant go wrong with either, ) I would choose the custom set thats were its at. Less straps to fiddle with, easy on and off. For example: if your on the bench and the back of your knees need some air ,loosen 1 strap ,undo the back with 1 finger and smile. With some practice its just that quick.
