Very bad quality and terrible smell

If return shipping would have been for free, we would have returned this item right away. We got a pre-opened article which someone had been tried to assembly and failed - like us. The wood smells terrible. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the product. We kept it, reworked the surface, so the pieces got because due to upcoming Christmas we did not have the time to re-buy and as stated return would have been super expensive.
