Malvinas is a pure blend of 100% merino wool from La Islas Malvinas in the Falkland islands off the coast of Argentina. A workhorse yarn great for colourwork projects due to its vibrant semi-solid colours. It's designed to be the same gauge...

great colours but some drawbacks
I love the Noro colours. The wool is marled - colours dyed separately and then spun together. However it also means the yarn is of very uneven thickness - thick where colours join and sometimes very thin. I use this effect but beware of it. My main complaint is all the balls of wool I have bought have been under weight - usually only a few grams but some 17 g less than stated. On a 200 g ball that is nearly 20 %. That said I will be buying more Noro - the colours and look can't be beat!

Malvinas
I was not expecting the wool to be so rough with a few more joins than I would have liked & more differences in width of strands. The most disappointing thing was how much I had left over.....almost enough for another project but not quite. If you make a pattern that requires two strands make your yarn bundles smaller. I used a Noro pattern. I was expecting more quality and thought for the price I paid.
