Fantastic wheels for the late rides

Initially bought these to put on my inline skates to enhance my visibility on the road and, as a bonus, it looks dope imo. I was very skeptical at first because a lot of reviews online are pointing to some quality issues and very tight bearing housing, but decided to give it a go nonetheless. I am glad I did! My order came in super fast and was nicely packaged. I bought a pack of four white wheels and a pack of blue ones as I wanted to make a pattern white/blue. Without surprise, the white wheels had already a green-ish glow when received during a sunny day. The blue ones had a less noticable blue glow. I ordered the BONES REDS bearings for the wheels. The wheels came with their own magnetic spacers used to generate the electricity to light up the LEDs. Installation was simple, but not necessarily painless ; I had a bit of struggle to make a perfect fit and alignment for the bearings and was having a hard time to get a freely spinning wheel. Turns out, inserting the bearing once, popping them out and then inserting them again did the trick for me. The wheels are SOOOO great! Glides super smooth (thanks to the Bones bearings) and they glow super bright (especially the white ones). A lot of comments online, mostly people complaining, said that the wheel would cause a lot of drag to light up the LEDs, but these wheels feel actually faster than the previous set that I had. After perhaps 12 rides, one of the LEDs in one of the wheel died, but no surprises since I've been beating the hell out of those at the skate park. From my perspective, they are quite durable to impacts and the rough roads of Montreal.
