Tufting Workshop: Make Your Own Rug

Fun workshop for anyone!

A 12" x 12" rug took about 3.5 hours without any rush, which was perfect! The workshop was a fun, relaxed time where we got to learn a new craft and do something we hadn't even heard of before! I'd recommend this to anyone who thinks they may like it. It seemed a little intimidating at first but all of us got the hang of it quickly. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well

Sam was an excellent teacher, offering advanced tips on how to give my rug more dimension since the image I wanted to work from was from a real photo. Also very patient and encouraging, making sure I walked away with a product that looked finished and I was proud of. They let me take time beyond the four hours to finish my small rug. I have been to Craft Loft before for walk-in activities - thoroughly enjoyed my first class (and first rug tufting experience) and would come back for more!
