Tempo Tech Fade Run Short - Lined 7"

I love the shorts, I'm actually wearing them right now..lol..but I must say, ​I was in nordstroms recently and tried on the matching ombré shirt and shorts set (black to cream). I really liked the idea and the quality, but I ended up not buying the shirt because of how the gradient flows when the full set is worn together. I think the outfit would look significantly smoother and more cohesive if the ombré effect were treated as one continuous fade across the entire set—where the shirt starts black at the collar and transitions down to mid-tone/cream, and the shorts pick up right at that transition point to finish fading down to solid cream at the hem.

I take a large in every other brand, occasionally an extra large. I returned my initial purchase and I ordered a size down. They fit nicely, still a bit roomier than others but I like the quality and style of the fabric.
