I simply didn't understand the hype surrounding this fragrance, however maceration did improve it's worthiness of placement in my collection. No doubt about it, Black Origami is certainly a "niche" scent profile; the masses will not be running to it... I have found that layering it with amber or fruity frags upgrades it's use-case for me. I suppose that's the beauty of the fragrance game—possibilities unfold when one dares to explore the less traveled path~
