It helps to have the right lenses

Following cataract surgery on both eyes and a cornea transplant on one, I went from being very near-sighted to very far-sighted. My surgeon wanted to charge $45 for merely writing a prescription for trifocal lenses, but that seemed ridiculous. Instead, I did some experimentation at the drug store, then bought two Peepers Specs with quality frames and lenses. For serious reading, the 250 correction is best for me, and for middle distance like the computer screen and keyboard or meal preparation, 150s work best. The only thing that kept this frame from a 5-star review is that one hinge screw has already worn out its teeth, so it needs constant tightening.
