REPAIRING Conditioner Bar

Product is great until about halfway through

I've used Ethique products for over 2 years now and I love the quality/lack of plastic, but the last couple of times I've used this specific conditioner bar I've noticed it tends to "flake" off little bits about halfway through the bar's use. I'm not sure if I just received a batch that hasn't cured well or something, but it does get annoying to have to unclog my drain and scrub off little chunks every other day.

I’ve tried a few other conditioners from ethique but this is by far my favorite. It definitely leaves my hair feeling softer and more hydrated.

The bar when I first started to use had falling pieces from the soap so I feel like I lost at least a few days from the broken pieces. I tried to use them but they didn't want to stick back to the bar. I believe that these bars are supposed to last awhile, but this is my third and I went through 1.5 in about a month.
