Warm and well-fitting with caveats

I had high expectations for this hat, having lost a felt hat with ear flaps (stolen from a coat rack). The Wigens hat fits my head circumference perfectly, and the material is comfortable and as warm as I hoped. However, I am having to adjust to two things. One is that the crown sits high above my head so I have to pull the hat down, bumping into my ears. The other is that the bill is wider than I expected … the advertisement says, "features a slightly longer bill than standard baseball caps”, however the bill is normal length, just wider, which takes getting used to. Neither of these are deal breakers, but I am a bit disappointed that I have to make these adjustments.

Unfortunately, I’m returning this cap. The sizing is off by a lot. Yes, the circumference is correct; however, there is a significant gap between the top of my head and the top of the cap! I could fit an apple in the gap. I’ve purchased many caps over the decades and I’ve never had this problem before now. You might want to revisit the sizing on this one. I gave it 3 stars because the material/cap are quite nice…if you’re a cone head.
