Beautiful lemon tree

Beautiful tree. Has 3 lemons. Curious why the new leaves always curl. Loves loves loves outside and bright window spots.

Ordered as a gift for my Mom. She said the sweet smell lasted only about 1 week and then all flowers fell off. She is also in Florida and has kept it indoors in a windowsill so the weather is not an issue. She's unsure of how it's doing now. Can we receive more instructions or expectations on fruiting time?
