I ordered these shoes on August 12th and didn’t receive them until November 3rd—13 weeks later. That delay might be understandable if the shoes were truly high-quality, handcrafted leather, but they’re not. What I received was a cheap pair of heels with a “Hide & Heels” sole glued on, a thin piece of leather attached to the ankle strap, and strings connecting the leather to the heel that would likely rot the first time they get wet. Thirteen weeks for poor effort. I ordered these to wear for a wedding that came and went long before they arrived, so I had to buy another pair at the last minute. I also find it frustrating that the only shipping option at checkout was to pay extra for “express shipping,” yet communication from the shop was limited to an automated message stating production takes 8–10 weeks—with no real updates or responses during that time. For the quality received and the lack of communication, I would like a refund. More importantly, I hope the owner takes this as constructive feedback to improve transparency and customer communication moving forward.
