Fermo Nubuck Boot in Chocolate

First chelsea, and after a long search for the perfect one, the Fermo has satiated my desire. The feel, patina, the way the leather fits, I can hardly wait to pick up the Nero color.

Almost perfect, but....

It should be 4.5 Star (due to sizing). For first time buyers on KOIO brand, like myself, hope this review helps you on making the decision on the correct sizing. I wear 10.5 on everything, consistently (Sneakers, Loafers, boots, etc...) The tricky part with brands that doesn't offer Half sizing, you don't know to go up and down to the next full size. KOIO site, and reading other reviews suggests going UP to next full size, which I did, and here is the verdict. The boots itself is about a inch longer than all other boots that I currently own and when wearing KOIO, it fits (pending type of socks). When wearing a thinner dress socks, the KOIO fits but not snug, and when wearing thicker socks the KOIO is snug tight. The concern I have with wearing thicker socks are, what if when the boots gets a bit worn in few months time? will it get a bit loose? Next time, I will try going one size down with KOIO for my 10.5 size, this way I can even wear thinner socks during all season long. The quality, superior !! The comfort, awesome (thicker socks) !! I'm so glad that I've KOIO. I currently own many top European brand shoes which I've paid 2x or 3x the price.

Solid boot.

Arrived in perfect condition. The boots show great craftsmanship without a single loose thread out of line. The leather is soft but rugged. Overall well crafted, solid boot that seems it will hold up for a long while.
