A Soft Clean Gourmand

I have not smelled the OG so I cannot speak to whether it is spot on or not. Used in perfume and body oil. First impression is it is a very sweet musk and the cedar wood and aldehydic notes are very far away in the background. I was expecting a more prominent cedar or woody note. A gourmand lover or a clean scent lover would like this. So I would categorize this as a “clean gourmand”. I used a 50% oil to alcohol ratio for the perfume (1oz). It has not had a full 30 days to blend, which may change the prominence of some of the notes. I will be blending this with Guaiac Wood & Silk to amplify the woodiness.

I’ve ordered this twice, and the last batch was no the same as the 1st. It smelled like maple something. Idk if they changed the formula but change it back.

Gorgeous, but...

I have been trying to get a sample of Cedar Chic in like forever, but it is sold out everywhere, thus, I have not actually smelled the OG. I figured this was my best bet. I tried it and I think it smells amazing, it is gorgeous, musky, creamy, but too sweet! Not sure how close this Doop version is to its inspiration, but if this is what the og smells like, I am not that impressed. However, Doop did an amazing job on this one (as always), it is long lasting and it is extremely pretty, just not what I had envisioned...
