I was having a hard, to impossible time closing the lids and had to get my husband involved! I am 78 with weak gripping power. But then I discovered that if I put a tiny drop of olive oil on my finger and rubbed the gasket then the lid would close easily. Of course you have to be sure the lid is seated properly.
