Technical Bucket Hat UPF 50+

I am in love with my purchase of my beige Technical Bucket Hat UPF 50+ (I bought one for a friend too) to take on a cruise as ideally they’re lightweight, fold nicely, and don’t crease but most importantly, they’ll give our heads 50+ protection from the harsh sun. The drawstrings will prevent the hat from flying away in the wind. It feels like an excellent sun block and it will keep my hair tidy from the wind. I’ll be back to buy more sun protective clothing from Solbari.

Great Hat

I just received the Technical Bucket Hat last week and it's actually better than I thought it would be. One week is certainly not enough to talk about how long it will last, but here are the good things. My sport is archery. I was looking for a bucket hat with maximum protection, a brim that is flexible enough to fold up and stay up, one that will stay on my head in the wind, and fits comfortably. This hat does all of those things. The black under the brim reduces glare. AND there is a toggle in the back to tighten the fit without having to use the chin strap (which can be tucked into the crown). I have a big head and the X/LX is true to size.

My new go outdoor hat

This bucket hat has been on my head every day since I’ve been in Bali (same with my wife and her Palm beach sun hat). The UV levels have been getting to 12 every day since we’ve been here, however this hat and the compact UV umbrella has been a solid shield of protection, and am yet to get sunburnt. The hat is super light weight on the head and is very comfortable and breathable, I’ve been wearing it from morning till late afternoon. It’s also a quick dry material so great for pool and beach use if it gets a little wet. The only thing to flag is the hat did run a little small for me, but was not an issue as I ordered both the medium and large, and simply returned the medium size thanks to Solbari’s excellent and efficient returns process. Highly recommend getting this hat for the summer or any outdoor use.
