Replacement crucifix a blessing

Thank you for your quick response over my concern's about this order with the photos I supplied. I appreciated not having to ship it back and and will be gifting it to a young Argentinian couple new to our church. Although, the lighter wood version I originally received had the smaller detail features more easily seen - this image was carved well not having the imperfections I noted on the first one. The Lord knows all and now two crucifixes will bless two homes. I would be interested to know what kind of wood this crucifix is carved from? Advent Blessings and I appreciate the personal attention to my concerns

Took my breath away when I opened the package. The listing photos don't do it justice. I am not exaggerating, this crucifix is beautiful. It is well worth every penny, and one of my favorite things I have ever purchased. Considering the level of detail and craftsmanship on this piece, the price is actually very reasonable. I find its beauty draws me in when I pass by and causes me to spend time meditating on Christ's sacrifice. I've already recommended it to others, and purchased a second for my home. Would make a great gift. Shipping was lightning fast.
