At first I didn’t think that a subscription would be for me, but the friendship built over the years with Travis along with his photographic memory make this a win. Travis knows my purchasing history and musical tastes, ranging from the early post punk and new wave found in the warehouses of Manchester to the shoegazing distortion pedals of a Boston garage, from the lone DJ’s soundboards heard in a dusty East Berlin corner bar to the smoky jazz lounges of the lower west side of Manhattan to the steaming beaches of Ipanema.
