Minelab Manticore High Power Metal Detector

Excellent

The Manticore is much more technical than my Vanquish 440. Even though I get agitated a bit from the constant chatter, I know its part of the learning curve of operating a performance enhanced machine. I'm impressed how much deeper it reaches than the 440. Plenty of videos to help me learn and get better. No regret in this purchase either. Thank you High Plains!!

Passing the Torch!

After years of exciting metal detector adventures, and finding some really neat artifacts, it’s time to pass the excitement, stories, and love of treasure hunting on to my daughter. It is also time to retire my old favorite CXT3030 detector for a state of the art new machine, a Minelab Manticore. High Plains Prospectors made it all possible. They took in my old machine as a trade and made me a fair deal. Now my daughter has a powerful machine that she can basically use right out of the box.. I hope she enjoys metal detecting as much as as I have! There is nothing better than the feeling of returning something like a ring or necklace to an owner that felt they lost a piece of their life. The hug you get is priceless! Thanks High Plains Prospectors for keeping my dream alive!

Amazing Detector

It works great and does everything my Equinox 600 does but a lot better and this one has more bells and whistles. Ticket is to learn the detector and then review.
