Treasure Hunt Stories

These are such fun stories! Perfect for a long car ride! :)

Cute but I can’t ignore the out of context scripture…

My 4 year old used to be obsessed with treasure hunts, so naturally, she loved these stories. However, I would cringe everyone scripture was tied in… one that I specifically remember is Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find.” Let’s be clear… Jesus is NOT talking about hunting for treasure. If the context doesn’t fit, please leave the scripture out. I’m sad to have to phase this card out of our collection. 😢

Great Easy to Follow Stories

These stories felt moralizing at times to me as an adult and have unrealistically happy endings. :D However, for my almost 6 year old who has been wanting "scary" stories they are perfect. I never heard any content concerns and the stories present very positive sibling and friend relationships. I'd love to see more adventure content for this age group. Maybe even some curated missionary stories would be nice (it's hard to find them for the younger age group on audio).
